I am a concerned citizen, retired with a low pension. Each month, my fuel bills chop down a sizable slice of my financial resources. It's shocking to note that MPs’ utility bills for their second homes are reimbursed, often costing more than my entire pension! The MPs' utility allowances were originally implemented for them to carry out their duties effectively, not for their personal luxuries. Why do they need a second home? It's disheartening to see our representatives enjoy such privileges while ordinary people like myself, struggle to meet everyday expenses. This disparity must be addressed.
