Halt U.S. Funding Contributing to Genocide and Ethnic Cleansing in Palestine

The Issue

The world is witnessing a modern-day Holocaust, where innocent lives are being lost and human rights blatantly violated. This petition calls on the President of the United States and all global leaders to intervene IMMEDIATELY & HALT FUNDING.

Israel's actions include a long history of violation human and international law, including and are not limited to:

  • Illegal use of White Phosphorus on Palestinians. In the past few days, Israel has employed White phosphorous, a banned substance under international law, in attacks on Palestinians, causing inhumane suffering and violating basic human rights.
  • Bombing of hospitals, schools, residential buildings, and countless deaths in Gaza. The recent bombing of the Anglican Hospital has been a devastating blow, with a rising death toll, currently estimated at 500, further exacerbating the plight of Palestinians in desperate need of medical care.
  • Desecration of places of worship
  • Creating family-separating checkpoints.
  • Establishing illegal settlements on Palestinian land.
  • Attacking villages, targeting journalists, and unjustly imprisoning both children and adults without fair trials, ongoing mistreatment of Palestinians.

The United Nations has officially declared these actions as Ethnic Cleansing under International Law. These are not mere allegations; they are documented facts that history will remember as crimes against humanity.

Our silence today is our complicity tomorrow. We must not stand idle while these injustices continue unabated. The world will look back at this moment in time with regret. If we do nothing now, more lives will be lost to the unjustified violence, ethnic cleansing, and mass genocide of Palestinians.

This isn't just about politics or territorial disputes; it's about human lives - children losing their parents, families torn apart, generations scarred by trauma that will persist for decades.

I am a living testament to this pain and anguish as every day my heart breaks for people who suffer while others remain silent or choose sides without understanding the full context or implications of their stance and how they have contributed to the ongoing torture and human suffering by stating their neutrality.

The world was quick to wrongfully condemn Palestine but has failed to hold Israel accountable for its actions. This selective outrage is not only unfair but also fuels further violence and hatred.

We urge you - leaders - to step up NOW when it matters most. Condemn these acts unequivocally and work towards an immediate ceasefire followed by holding Israel accountable for its crimes and sending immediate aid to Gazans who have no food, water, shelter, or medical equipment to support themselves and their injured.

Please sign this petition today because your voice can make a difference – let us collectively ensure that Palestine never forgets that there were those who stood up against oppression when it mattered most. While every hypocrite stood against Gaza, we have to make sure that they know we haven't forgotten them, we will not give up, and we will do our absolute best on our side to help them in any way possible.

From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free and we will return one day to care for our brothers and sisters who've suffered enough.

This petition seeks to address the role of the United States, specifically under President Joe Biden's administration, in funding these atrocities. According to a report by Human Rights Watch, there are strong grounds for believing Israeli authorities are committing crimes against humanity (Human Rights Watch 2021).

The U.S., as one of Israel's staunchest allies and largest aid contributors, indirectly funds these actions. In 2020 alone, the U.S provided $3.8 billion in foreign military aid to Israel (Congressional Research Service 2020). We believe that it is crucial for this funding to be reassessed and redirected away from supporting potential human rights abuses.

We call on President Joe Biden and his administration to take immediate action by halting any financial support that may contribute towards these atrocities until a thorough investigation has been conducted into the alleged crimes against humanity taking place in Palestine. It is time for our leaders to prioritize human rights over political alliances.

Please sign this petition if you believe in justice and peace for all people regardless of their nationality or ethnicity.
