We are raising concern over the Pflugerville Autism Registry, aiming to protect the rights, privacy, and dignity of children with autism and their families. This current registry can potentially lead to discrimination and invasion of privacy, which directly conflicts with the values our society upholds. According to the Autism Society, over 3.5 million people live with an Autism Spectrum Disorder in the U.S. These individuals, and particularly children, require understanding, support, and a nurturing environment free from undue scrutiny or discrimination. This petition seeks to cease the Pflugerville Autism Registry and to foster a more inclusive and respectful solution.
