Halt the Passage of House Bill 1660 in Mississippi

Halt the Passage of House Bill 1660 in Mississippi
The Issue
I am a resident of Mississippi, and like many others, I have found solace in electronic tobacco products after years of heavy smoking. Before discovering e-cigarettes, I was consuming around two packs a day. The transition to electronic tobacco products has been life-changing for me.
Now, our government is attempting to pass House Bill 1660 which threatens our freedom to choose safer alternatives like e-cigarettes. This bill not only infringes on our personal liberties but also disregards the potential health benefits that these alternatives provide for heavy smokers.
According to the Royal College of Physicians (UK), vaping is at least 95% less harmful than smoking traditional cigarettes. Yet, despite such evidence, our government wants us to revert back to more harmful options.
We are adults who contribute significantly through taxes and yet we are being dictated on what legal substances we can consume. This isn't just about e-cigarettes; it's about preserving our rights as free citizens in a democratic society.
Stand with me today against this overreach by signing this petition. Let's remind them that we live in the land of the free and not just free(ish). Your signature can make a difference and help protect our right to choose healthier alternatives!
