Halt the Large-Scale Development Threatening Senoia's Small-Town Charm and Environment

The Issue

I live in Senoia, GA, a town that prides itself on its small-town charm and respect for nature. However, a large-scale development project, along with projects that have already been allowed, are threatening to change all of this. The proposed multi-home and business complex is less than 2 miles from my home and will drastically alter our community.

This development will not only disrupt traffic patterns but also strain our schools with overcrowding. Our town's unique character risks being lost as more businesses move in. But it's not just about preserving our way of life; it's about continuing to keep crime at a minimum and safeguarding the environment too. Not to mention the strain that will be placed on our already struggling infrastructure.

The project involves removing trees and failing to preserve precious land space - a direct threat to local biodiversity. According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), urban development can lead to habitat destruction, water pollution, air pollution, and increased greenhouse gas emissions.

We must act now before irreversible damage is done. We need your help to send a clear message that we value our community’s charm over unnecessary expansionism; we prioritize education over crowded classrooms; we choose nature over concrete jungles.

Please sign this petition today to halt this large-scale development in Senoia – for our town’s character, for our children’s education, for the sake of nature itself.
