I am a resident of the rural neighborhood in East New Market, MD where the Kettlejam Bluegrass Festival is planned on being held. This event will disrupt our peaceful community with noise pollution and increased traffic. Our tranquil streets will be transformed into chaotic scenes filled with unfamiliar faces and vehicles. 

The festival's impact could extend beyond just one weekend. The preparation and clean-up periods may also bring disturbances to our daily lives for weeks on end. The infrastructure of the neighborhood is not set up do have an event of this magnitude. This creates safety concerns and risks for residents of this area. 

Moreover, this event brings an influx of outsiders who are not familiar with our local roadways or respectful of our quiet way of life. This could result in numerous traffic incidents, straining our local law enforcement resources.

We understand that music festivals can have cultural value and economic benefits for some communities; however, we believe that such events should be held in appropriate venues that do not disrupt residential areas' tranquility.
