I am a resident of Morrisville, New York, living amidst the serene beauty of our farming community. The tranquility and natural splendor that we cherish is under threat due to the proposed Hoffman Falls Wind Project. This project plans to erect 24 wind turbines across Fenner, Smithfield, Nelson, and Eaton. These turbines will stand at a staggering height of 600-680 ft., drastically altering our beloved landscape.

One such turbine is slated for construction on land neighboring my own home. These towering structures will not only mar our scenic vistas but could also pose potential health risks and disrupt local wildlife habitats.

The developers are applying through the ORES 94-C Permit process instead of following local zoning laws that are created with it's community in mind. This approach undermines our democratic processes and disregards the voices of residents who call these towns their home.

Wind energy should not come at the expense of community well-being or environmental integrity. We urge decision-makers to reconsider this project and adhere to local zoning laws that reflect community interests.

If you could please take a minute to write a comment opposing the wind farm on the ORES website it would mean so much. They are supposed to take all comments into consideration before making a decision.
