We are calling for opposition to the proposed extension of the urban growth boundary line and development plans for Caldera Ranch, a 700-house high density neighborhood. This project lacks an adequate assessment of how it will increase traffic congestion on local roads and intersections, creating an unsafe situation for our community. It disrupts our existing neighborhood and fails to respect the existing properties surrounding the development. It is critical to balance the growth demands with the existing infrastructure capacities. We urge the concerned department to critically evaluate the negative impacts and reconsider this proposal.
