This tranquil environment is cherished by us, the residents, who adore the rural charm of our humble town.

The proposed location for this development is currently farmland, an invaluable resource offering numerous benefits. The environmental impact of losing farm land is immense, including biodiversity loss and increased carbon dioxide levels. Furthermore, this Dollar General store would undeniably become an eyesore, detracting from the natural beauty of Ellington.

Moreover, the products offered in these stores are not of satisfactory quality, often overpriced, and do not contribute significantly to our local economic growth.
