We are urging authorities to reconsider plans to build an industrial-sized solar panel facility in our area. While we support the transition to renewable energy, it should not come at the expense of our community's wellbeing and environment. Loss of green space, potential pollution from industrial activity, and the disruption of local ecosystems are valid concerns that need to be addressed. Instead, we encourage the exploration of alternative locations or improved technologies that need less land.
