Halt Pace Water's Rezoning Plans for Wastewater Treatment Expansion

The Issue

I am a resident of Pace, Florida and my home is located adjacent to the land that Pace Water intends to rezone for their wastewater treatment process. This decision directly affects me, my family, and our community.

Pace Water's proposed rezoning will not only disrupt the tranquility of our neighborhood but also poses potential environmental risks. According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), wastewater treatment plants can contribute to air and water pollution if not properly managed. This could lead to health issues among residents and harm local wildlife.

Moreover, this rezoning plan disregards the rights of homeowners like myself who have invested in this community expecting peace, safety, and stability. The value of our properties may decrease due to proximity with a wastewater treatment plant.

We need your support in urging Pace Water Authority and local government officials reconsider this decision. We believe there are other viable locations for expansion that would cause less disruption and risk to residential areas.

Please sign this petition today; help us protect our homes, health, environment, property values - everything we hold dear in our beloved neighborhood of Ashley Plantation located in Pace from being compromised by these rezoning plans.

In addition to signing the petition, we urge local residents to please consider joining us for a homeowner meeting at the Ashley Plantation Clubhouse May 6 at 7 PM. and attend the upcoming Public hearings for rezoning on May 9th at 6pm located at the Santa Rosa County Administrative Complex in the Commissioners Board Room at 6495 Caroline Street. Along with the second Hearing to be held on May 23rd at 5pm in the same location.

Together we can protect our properties!
