The aging population ,, retired individuals and young families in the community of Enterprise, WV 26568, have been burdened by exorbitant sewerr rates which have resulted in alarming financial distress. The escalating sewage rates have forced some to choose between feeding their families, affording medicine, or keeping their water running. Many of our community members are low-income and retired - it isn't fair for them to face such immense hardship due to the punitive costs of essential water. We need immediate intervention to prevent further sewer rate increases which our citizens can ill afford. 

Too many of these residents are being strong-armed into paying these elevated charges or risk having their water service terminated - a tactic that is unsettlingly exploitative. We call upon the water service providers and the relevant local authorities to impose an immediate hold on any further cost increases. We also urge for a comprehensive review of these problematic practices that harm the most vulnerable among us.
