Don't you think food in any stadium is expensive? I want this to stop. My favorite baseball team is the New York Yankees. I have gone to a few games and the thing I noticed that really bothered me everytime I went there was the food and drink prices. They were very bizarre. Everything was expensive and just ridiculous. I am trying to make a petition to lower the costs of food and drinks in Yankee Stadium. This has bugged a lot of people since they created the Yankees. We would like to spend at least 40% less for food. It is insane!

Everyone's favorite foods, like the burger or chicken tenders, can be really good at times. But to pay $8-$15 dollars for it is just overboard. In other places, like stores, restaurants, and food trucks, there are reasonable prices for a good amount of food. To me, I would rather eat outside of Yankee Stadium than go in and spend $30 dollars on food and drinks. Beverages can go around $4- $7 dollars. That's including beer, sodas, water, milkshakes, and any other drinks that ordinary people like to have. Would you really pay for a meal like this? I believe this problem can really cause people not to eat or drink at all. I want to reduce these prices and make people feel comfortable.

Lets's go to a family picture. If you bring your family to the ballpark (Yankee Stadium), you expect to spend the same price you would spend at a restaurant. Well, it won't be close to that. Owners and executives don't realize the suffering people have to go through because they don't have enough money for a burger and a soda. If they can feel the sadness, they can discover that they need to lower prices in their stadium. I want to try to prevent this major problem by starting this petiton to get the owners of Yankee Stadium's attention. People create the legacy of the stadium. If they like the experience, they tell their friends and bring even more people. More people means more money, right? I don't think that more people will come when your prices are ridiculous.  

The great idea of going to Yankee Stadium is to have a good time and eat food with people you have never seen before. . People love to see their favorite team play. So why can't we eat, drink, and have fun at a game without overboard prices? It's all just about the money for the owners of Yankee Stadium. Lowering the costs of food and drinks will cause kids, adults, and even elders to be happy when they come to see a baseball game. I believe with hard work and dedication, we can make this possible.
