ነዚ ፐቲሽን ገንዘብ ኣይትሃቡ ፌርም ጌርኩም ጥራይ ሼር ግበሩ በጃኹም። Yohannes Abraha, also known as John Black, has been wrongfully imprisoned in Hague, Netherlands. This circumstance isn't just a personal matter—it's a grievous violation of human rights. John Black's pursuit of justice and his unwavering activism for human rights have been forcibly suppressed and oppressed. He is a brave seeker of justice who has fallen victim to the #TransnationalRepression strategy employed by the Eritrean regime. Yohaness Abraha has been targeted by Eritrean regime agents in the diaspora due to his desire to protect and the Netherlands from criminals and terrorists.

The Eritrean authorities employ this strategy to intimidate and harass asylum seekers and activists outside their borders. They’ve recruited questionable Individuals (Cadre) to testify against John Black in attempts to damage his credibility. In the past during a peaceful protest John Black was detained and given to his enemies ( Eritrean Regime agents) by compromised local authorities and was lucky enough to escape with his life. These agents arrive to democratic countries as asylum seekers, take on jobs as interpreters and professionals while corrupting and compromising the system.   According to Freedom House, Eritrea is among the top countries practicing #TransnationalRepression. Further, Human Rights Watch records state that the Eritrean government maintains a surveillance network to target Eritreans living abroad, particularly human rights activists and justice seekers like John Black.

This harsh reality is far from the global standard of freedom and justice—the very principles that John Black devoted his life to upholding. His unjust imprisonment is a blatant violation of freedom of speech and reflects the dire need for international intervention. In 2021 they threatened John and his family 👉 reference: https://www.change.org/p/support-yohannes-abraha-against-hgdef-terrorists-false-accusations

In a democratic world, we cannot tolerate such an egregious violation of human rights. We therefore implore relevant Netherlands/International authorities and human rights organizations to work towards the immediate and unconditional release of John Black. Let’s stand united, amplify our voices, and work towards justice for John Black. Sign this petition today.
