Demeter, mother of Persephone and goddess of the harvest, is distraught with grief once again because her daughter is trapped in the Underworld with Hades for this half of the year. When the pair is separated, every thing on the land becomes cold and barren. Just like right now (have you looked outside?). Therefore, we need Persephone back so she, goddess of the springtime, can cheer up her mother and bring fertility and warmth back to the land. 

If this goes on for any longer, the entire greater Boston area may become buried under FIVE FEET of snow. We cannot let this happen! Help send Hades our message!! I can only dig out my car so many times!!!
