The road closures around the Hackney downs area was implemented without consulting its residents.  This is an absolute disgrace.  The road closures mean longer strenuous journeys.  Motorists are forced onto one road causing great delays, traffic jams and congestion which means more pollution in one area. Essential journeys need to be made by Motorists in given time frames which is now impossible to meet.  I myself will not be able to get to my place of employment on time after dropping my children to different locations but the council are not considering the Essential needs of others. Closing every surrounding road means motorists must circulate and make longer unnecessary journeys, where is the logic in this?
