Gypsy Housing LLC is a large real estate brokerage firm in New York City. They not only own and run the rentals of thousands of properties but also direct the actions of several Facebook groups targeted at advertising and providing marketing for housing in New York City. This Facebook group has given rise to several other Facebook housing groups totaling into 100's of 1000's of members. 

The term "gypsy", used in any form, is a pejorative term, a racial slur against the Romani people. The Romani are one of the single most politically and socially persecuted ethnic races in the world. The Romani are part of the Indian diaspora and have inhabited in subgroups every single continent known to man. This term causes pain and suffering for many Romani. This term does not mean "to wander." It is an exonym, a term created by outsiders, to oppress the Romani people who have suffered banishment and ethnic cleansing globally, in particular during WWII at the hands of Nazi Germany where 500,000 were executed in the Holocaust. This persecution continues to this day world wide.
