Let's make a gymnastics team at MISD a reality! There is currently NO gymnastics team offered at MISD, while MISD is one of the very few exemplary districts that does not offer this opportunity to our kids. A gymnastics team is offered by many of the DFW area school districts to include HEB School district , Irving ISD,  Grapevine-Colleyville, Garland, Rockwall, Birdville, Hurst, Highland park and many others. Gymnastics is a sport with a huge popularity in the USA and  a great number of young girls and boys participate in the sport before even starting school. At the same time the Spirals gym in the heart of Mansfield has prepared a great number of talented young gymnasts who have no option to continue to compete at a higher level currently in Mansfield. The Spirals gymnastics teams have won multiple competitions to include last  year’s and this year’s state competitions. These are some great achievements and it will be wonderful to create future opportunities for these talented young athletes in Mansfield instead of leaving them with no choice but looking for another more accommodating school district. We truly hope that the MISD will make a gymnastics team happen for our students!
