My cat recently went missing and someone told me to look on gum tree and I asked why, she said you can buy them on there. Having emailed gum tree asking if they can look out for my cat they said NO we just sell them just in a nicer way. This says to me you can collect cats off the street and sell them in hard times. 

We are going through a pandemic and lots of desperate people so anything is possible and I dont think any un regulated website should be selling animals they dont care for.

This also encourages unregulated breeding of animals and an easy platform to sell them on cats dogs any creature no licences nothing no vet checks no scanning of chips.

This really needs to be looked into and heavier regulations put in place by the government as soon as possible to stop animals being a comoderty for sale like toys.

There isnt much more I can say other than I was so shocked by this I've had to start a petition and see how many agree with me.
