Ever since Iris West Became more prominently featured in the 'the flash' show on the cw, the level of the show has drastically lowered.
The only thing she actualy does is be a barry parasite.
She acts as the leader of the team even though she has no experience in that field in any way.
Other people could have filled that role much better.
She even seemed to have quit her job as a journalist, which at least seemed to contribute something to the show sometimes.
Not only that but she also has gotten a sense of grandeur ("You are not the Flash Barry, we are").
Not to mention the fact that Candice Patton and Grand Gustin have zero chemistry (didn't they do a chemitry test ?)
I get that they wanted to be true to the comics but comon people !
She doesn't even act like Iris... (which granted is more on the writers then anything).
If you looked through the comics caitlin snow acts (and looks) much more like her.
