Due to recent disaster in Cisco Texas. Flash flooding, State Highway 6 being washed out, homes still under water because shore lines and lake levels were incorrectly measured. Cisco lake is basically unusable, hwy 6 is impassable, residents of the lake can't even think about rebuilding their lives. Local businesses are losing as much as 50% of their daily revenue. FEMA has attempted to assist home owners, but they can't inspect until waters recede which could take years depending on future rains, unless the city pumps out the water. The goal of this petition is to get the city and county to do something to lower the lake level quickly and make a temporary road around the hwy 6 wash out.
