As I’m sure you’re all aware, the Dog & Pheasant pub has been crying out for some love and attention for several years now.

Sadly Greene King has not felt it met their threshold for updating. Mouldy walls, paint peeling, holes in ceilings, ancient furnishings, the list goes on. It’s not an unclean pub by any means - staff and management pour hours into keeping it looking the best they possibly can. However there is a limit to what they can achieve without some serious renovation taking place. 

The pub is at the heart of this community. Mile End is a thriving community that has grown unrecognisably in the last few years. Hundreds of possible patrons are put off visiting due to the state of the interiors and the unwelcoming look of the place. 

Please sign this petition which will be sent to Greene King, requesting they prioritise redecorating and updating this much-loved pub. Also please share it as much as you can, as this is an issue that impacts so many within our community - while being a totally achievable challenge.
