On the 19th of July 2020, British popstar Dua Lipa has shared a photo on her Twitter account of a map showing the Balkan state of Albania enlarged with the territories of  4 neighboring sovereign states: a part of Greece, a part of North Macedonia, a part of Serbia and a part of Montenegro. She then captioned the photo with the following statement: "au•toch•tho•nous adjective (of an inhabitant of a place) indigenous rather than descended from migrants or colonists". Her statement was meant to imply that the nations of people who live in all of the neighboring states are not native, therefore they have no right to live in their respectful countries and all 4 of them should undergo a process of acquisition by Albania.

Even though Dua Lipa now lives and works in London, UK, she herself is a migrant, because her family is originally from Kosovo, and her nationality is Albanian, hence her interest in the territorial size of Albania. Many people from the affected countries have been quick to show their disappointment and frustration with her post, claiming that she aspires and contributes to a cause called Greater Albania, an idea that many people have described as Ultra Nationalistic since it's meddling directly into the sovereignty of the 4 neighboring nations. 

I encourage the citizens of the mentioned countries and all the citizens of the World, who may find her post as unjust and humiliating - to sign the petition. To the people of the Balkan peninsula - if any of you feels tired of the overall Nationalist rhetoric that have been lingering on the Balkan peninsula for way too long now, sign the petition.
