Sign this petition to urge your County Commissioners to vote and make Gratiot County a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary!

In light of recent events in Virginia, Michiganders have taken a stand and are rallying in support of the 2A and our very own state constitution, which both emphasize the individual's right to bear arms.

Our own state representatives have proposed infringing anti-gun laws to include red flag laws and an "assault weapons" ban. Governor Whitmer, against the will of the people, also petitioned the Senate and our POTUS to create these laws at a federal level. Bills like these have caused the 2A Sanctuary movement to spread like a wildfire across not only this state but the country as a whole, with several counties having already established themselves as such.

The already proposed 2A sanctuary resolution shows that Gratiot County residents are united in standing up against the erosion of our 2A. This petition will help show just how many of us there are.
