Is there a word more apt than “pathetic” to describe Chuck Schumer’s performance as “leader” of the Democrats in the U.S. Senate?

Schumer’s capitulation to Trump/Musk and MAGA Republicans in the House of Representatives was chicken shit! Oh, that’s more apt than “pathetic”!!!

We are in a fight not just for the soul of our nation, but for its very existence as a democratic republic. Schumer’s idea is to take talking points to a gunfight. Sorry, Chuck, but talking points will lose every time. 

It’s too late for you to grow some backbone, so use your minimal remaining energy to step aside! Immediately.

Senator Chris Murphy is one Senator who “gets it” (as do a few others). Murphy should be elevated to Democratic Senate Leader ASAP. before it’s too late. We want our voices to be heard, and we believe that Senator Chris Murphy is the right person to lead Senate Democrats in these tumultuous and dangerous times.
