We kindly request your consideration in expanding our local skate park to better serve the growing community of skateboarders. With an increasing number of young people engaging in this, the current facility no longer meets the demand for a safe and enjoyable space. By adding a larger skate park, including a half-pipe, we can provide an area where individuals can improve their skills, stay active, and engage in positive, constructive recreation. Not only would this investment benefit local youth, but it would also encourage healthy lifestyles, foster community spirit, and create a safe alternative to street skating. We urge you to consider this expansion, as it would significantly enhance the recreational opportunities for all ages in Horsley.

This is the perfect time to do this as the sun is coming out and the skate season is coming back and hopefully we could by the good of the people have an absolutely awsome skatepark by the summer of this year.

This will also massively boost the horsley income for shops close by this park for example the Bakery or the Merry house. Over all this will only have a positive impact on our village.
