The Issue

City officials in Green Bay,Wi have recently rejected an application for my Animal Establishment License, a much needed animal rescue. This decision hinders the ability for our community to provide sanctuary and care for stay and abandoned animals, which is a growing concern in our area.
Green Bay has witnessed a significant increase in stray animals in recent years.

According to data from local animal control agencies, the number of strays and abandoned pets has risen by over 20%in the last two years alone. Without a new facility, many of these animals face the grim reality of overcrowded shelters or being left to roam the streets, which is neither safe for animals nor for the community members.

The propsed animal rescue would not only alleviate the burden on existing facilities but would also provide crucial services such as low cost spaying/neutering, vaccinations, and fostering a more compassionate environment for pets and pet owners alike. It would also create educational opportunities within the community focusing on animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.

Our city needs a proactive solution that addresses the ongoing issue. We urge city officials to reconsider their stance and grant the necessary license for the animal rescue.

This move would demonstrate Green Bays commitment to humane animal treatment and community safety, ensuring a win-win situation for all.

Please join us in urging the decision-makers to support this vital initiative and grant the license for my proposed animal rescue.
