Grant the day after Halloween off

Grant the day after Halloween off
The Issue
To Whom It May Concern,
We, the undersigned, implore you to consider granting a day off from work or school on the day after Halloween.
Halloween is an incredibly popular holiday, celebrated all over the world with a variety of festivities and traditions. It is a time for dressing up in costume, attending parties, and indulging in sweet treats.
However, the night of Halloween can often lead to late nights and lack of sleep for both children and adults. This can make it extremely difficult to function and be productive throughout the following day. In addition, many people may have consumed sugar-heavy snacks and treats, which can lead to sluggishness and decreased mental acuity.
Furthermore, Halloween falls on October 31st, which is often a busy night for emergency services. This means that many police officers, firefighters, and medical professionals may be working long and exhausting shifts, without the ability to fully enjoy the holiday.
Granting a day off on the day after Halloween would not only allow people to fully enjoy the festivities of the holiday, but it would also promote a healthier and more sustainable work-life balance. It would also show appreciation and recognition for the hard work and dedication of those who provide essential services on Halloween night.
If your still not convinced then let me assure you, Halloween is not a night of the devil. It is a night of partys, make believe, and candy. Even if you think it is a night for the devil; then let me tell you that were not asking for Halloween off. Were asking for the day after Halloween off (All Saints day)
We urge you to seriously consider our petition and grant a day off on November 1st, as a way to support the health and well-being of workers and students alike, and to fully rejoice in the spirit of Halloween.
Sincerely,
Asher Kai Botvinick of Fairview Highschool and the undersigned.
