EOP students are affected by being part of Educational Opportunity Program (EOP). Student who enter this program are treated unfairly by some SUNY schools which place the attending EOP students at the bottom of everything within the schools from Semester Class choices and Room assignments.

A change for Equality for EOP students would mean the students will get a better success in College Graduation rates by allowing them to enter needed classes at the same time as a regular paying student and pick Room assignments at the same time as other students. EOP students shouldn't be placed on hold until regular paying students within the school pick their classes and are left picking classes not required for their major. 

This change would be a major impact on our EOP students to give them an equal opportunity to successfully succeed in college. This action is needed for our children immediately so they can have an Equal Opportunity that every other student has within the SUNY schools to graduate on time and not have to take classes unnecessarily just because all the classes they need for their major are full by the time they are allowed to pick classes for the next semester. Just because a Student is part of EOP program for educational and economic circumstances doesn't mean they should be place at the bottom.
