Grant Relief from Excessive Bond – Reduce His Bond and Let Him Fight Fairly!

Grant Relief from Excessive Bond – Reduce His Bond and Let Him Fight Fairly!
The Issue
My name is Stevenique Richardson, and I’m asking for your help to bring justice and compassion to my little brother, Robron “Buck” Lewis, who has been held in the El Paso County Jail Annex for over 3.5 years on an unreasonably high bond—a bond he simply cannot afford.
If you truly know Robron, you know he is not the person being portrayed by the charges. He’s a loyal brother, a caring friend, and a human being who deserves the right to fight his case fairly—from the outside, not behind bars.
It has been almost three years since he was last given the chance for a bond reduction despite demonstrating consistent good behavior. We are not asking for special treatment—just for fair treatment. The Constitution guarantees the presumption of innocence and the right to a fair trial. But how can anyone fight for their future when they’re locked away simply because they can’t afford freedom?
Robron has a strong support system—family, friends, and a community—ready to stand beside him. We believe in him, and we know he will comply with all conditions and requirements if given the opportunity to await trial from home.
By signing this petition, you're saying:
- No one should sit in jail for years simply because their accounts don't read certain digits.
- Every person deserves a fair shot to defend themselves
- We are asking the court to reduce Robron's bond to a reasonable amount so he can return to his family, prepare his defense properly, and live in dignity while his case proceeds.
Thank you for your time, your heart, and your signature. With your help, we can bring Robron home and change the course of a young man’s life.
