As someone deeply invested in the principle of "equal justice for all," I am profoundly disturbed by the case of Kevin Keith. In 1994, Kevin was wrongfully convicted by an all-white jury, despite the fact there was NO physical evidence connecting him to the crime.  No DNA, fingerprints or hair could be found.  Today, new evidence has emerged that supports his innocence. This is not just a personal issue; it's a matter of justice and fairness that affects us all.

The flaws of our criminal justice system disproportionally affect marginalized communities, leading to convictions such as Kevin Keith's.  Despite numerous appeals and new evidence, Kevin Keith remains incarcerated.

No one should be incarcerated for a crime they did not commit.  We are humbly calling upon Govenor Mike DeWine to do the right thing and grant Kevin Keith a full pardon.
