The Japanese Magnet Program has been hosted by Grant high school for many years. JMP has been an integral part of the Grant community, and should remain at this location. JMP students have helped diversify Grant High School with our large population of Japanese-American students. We JMP students are just as important a part of Grant High School as neighbourhood students. Our immersion students are dedicated Generals, participating in sports, clubs, debate, Grant Magazine and more. It is unfair to expect us to uproot from our commitments, say goodbye to the friends we have made, and ship our program to a different campus. Please help keep the Japanese Magnet Program at Grant High school by signing this petition and making your voices heard. PPS should not finalize any decision moving the JMP to Madison High School without student input. Students of Grant, let your voices and opinions be heard!
