Polk County is growing by the minute. The number of children in this county also grows by the minute. This petition is being started for the safety and welfare of these children.

Polk County makes millions in taxes. I’m sure a few dollars can be used to amend these situations. 

We are demanding the following:

Polk County Sherriff’s Office Grady Judd and Polk County Board of County Commissioners, Martha Santiago, District 4 - to grant a crossing guard to Horizons Elementary in Davenport, and to any other school in need for that matter.

Polk County School Board, Frederick Heid, Superintendent and Vaughn Belcher, Director of Transportation Operations - to grant more busses (not one bus picking up and dropping off at multiple schools), better bus schedules (not children getting home 2 hours after school ends).

Florida Department of Transportation - to grant Horizons Elementary in Davenport school zone signs and lights, and to any other school in need for that matter.
