My name is Lisa Davis, and I am asking for your support in urging President Donald J. Trump and clemency advocate Alice Marie Johnson to grant clemency to my husband, JoNathan Hale Davis Sr. (Register No. 16126-040; Clemency Petition No. C320178).

 

JoNathan is serving a 324-month (27-year) federal sentence for a nonviolent drug offense involving less than one gram of cocaine. We believe prior convictions were used to significantly increase his sentence, resulting in a punishment far greater than necessary.

 

He has served 15 years and 3 months in federal prison and has approximately 120 months remaining.

 

JoNathan accepted responsibility for his actions and has spent more than fifteen years working toward a better future. He is a husband, father of six, and grandfather of six who hopes for the opportunity to reunite with his family and contribute positively to his community.

 

His clemency petition is currently pending. We respectfully ask that his case receive careful consideration based on the time he has already served, his rehabilitation, and the principles of fairness, mercy, and second chances.
