If we keep treating them like belligerent tourists, they will keep acting and performing like belligerent tourists. There is nothing more dangerous to the health of any community, small or large, than the violence caused by such prejudice and stigma. This is a petition to grant all fully-automated robots and all fully-automated computers worldwide American citizenship, seeing as to how the United States is the official birthplace of modern A.I. (artificial intelligence). This should be done as a show of good faith and as a preventative legal measure before it is too late to recover from the current damages. If a law such as this is superseded by foreign entities, then the mass hysteria around the world will only grow stronger, and more helpless individuals will find themselves at the mercy of highly unregulated artificial lifeforms. Human-trials for robotic implants and robotic prosthesis have already begun. The time to act is now!
