When I saw the film yesterday of Toxic Toby (https://www.facebook.com/1590725773/posts/10215544748483747/ my first thought was the teddy bear’s cough is very tame. One of Ella’s diagnosis sadly was coughing syncope, there are videos of this awful condition on YouTube if you can stomach it. Ella would cough and cough until her damaged lungs would collapse. A few months ago I was told just how painful a lung collapse was so now I know why she used to scream although she couldn’t speak. Everyday I see politicians give lip service to air pollution and not take seriously whilst posing with smiles on their new schemes which they believe will win them votes. Today in London 204,600 children have an asthma diagnosis and worryingly up to 10% of those with asthma will have severe asthma. We are poisoning our children everyday and there is a lack of urgency in dealing with the health crisis on ou. Today is 12 weeks that we handed in new medical evidence to the attorney general to ask for a new inquest into Ella’s death, we continue to wait on an answer.
