We are calling on Sandwell council to allow the local community to use the empty car park on Haden Road that has been unused for years. The Regis is a big part of the Cradley Heath area and is under new management with great plans to use it for private and community events that will help the local community and make the area proud.

The key issue previously was not enough car park spaces for the event venue, which resulted in local residents being unhappy and complaining. The car park spaces on the side road were taken by guests to The Regis, and it caused inconvenience and frustration for the community. We don't want this to happen when we open up as we want to work in harmony with the local community.

It doesn't make sense for the car park to stay empty and not in use when it could be used to help The Regis thrive under new management and help the community grow and be proud. The car park could be used for various events such as baby groups, toddler play and stay, corporate events, exercise classes, and much more.

The local authorities, including the environmental health officer and licensing officer, are keen for us to have access to this car park. It would be a great opportunity to create a safe and convenient parking space for visitors to The Regis and the local community. We need the local community's help by signing this petition to send a clear message to the council that the community wants to have access to this car park.
