The residents of the Kansas City area all want a Starbucks in the newly built airport!   Every major airport in the country has a Starbucks in their airport! Why should Kansas City be an exception? 

A Starbucks in the KC airport would be a great addition to this area. One of the reasons that there isn’t a current Starbucks in the said airport is because they want to showcase the local coffee shops. This is understandable but for some reason they decided that there would be no Starbucks but there is a Dunkin’ Donuts!!  

The largest coffee shop in the world is Starbucks so it doesn’t make business and financial sense from a tax revenue standpoint to not have a Starbucks in said airport.

There have been multiple occasions when I have overheard people asking “Where is the Starbucks in the airport?” and the airport workers have told them “We do not have one.” And the potential customers have decided to not purchase items from any of the other coffee shops. These potential customers for Starbucks have been lost because of the incompetence to put a Starbucks in the airport and have resulted in a loss of revenue for the city and state.
