Gpisd needs to ban dress codes! Not only are they biased and sexist but they also promote the idea that the way you dress should be catered over what “distracts” others. Our shoulders do not distracts anyone. Our ripped jeans aren’t “inappropriate for the work environment”, it’s school. A PUBLIC school at that. Colored hair has never made someone not do their work. Teach people to control themselves instead of cover up. School is supposed to be a place of comfort. How do we expect our students to be comfortable if they can’t wear things such as leggings, express themselves, or even show their shoulders. If you can’t enforce students wearing masks then you should enforce dress code. It shows what your true priorities really are.
