Dear allies
The Last Update – the time to say NO
I hope all is well with you.
The tragic death of Belly Mujinga is now over five years old. She died on 5 April 2020.
We were unable to prove the causation between the white man who coughed mouth-open at her and discharged spittle at her and her contracting a fatal dose of Covid 19.
Unfortunately, the forensic DNA evidence was lost on the day. The angry white man (believed to be a lawyer, his mother thought to be a House of Lords member) declined to appear at the Coroner’s inquiry. He was very well-connected. He instructed the Queen’s actual Counsel Hugo Keith KC who defended her in the Princess Diana Coroner’s Inquiry.
Denying that he had Covid 19 he took a test a few days later which he said was negative; but in those days 50% of tests produced false positives.
The British Transport Police performed a keystone cop interview with the suspect offering him several false evidential aliabis, and deeming him not the sort of gentlemen to assault a black woman. One 6 foot tall male BTP officer told me that Belly did not react in the way he would have if he was spat on. That was typical of their unsympathetic and racist approach. Their new Chief was named in a previous race case. The civil servant who implemented the hostile environment for the Windrush generation was moved to chair the BTP Authority.
Ultimately, Belly was assaulted by the white man but the BTP took no action.
Belly’s employer failed to protect her and left her in a hostile working environment. Belly's racist manager ordering her to work outside the office during Covid 19, targeting her, knowing she had a medical condition which put her at risk. Belly racism grievance against that manager continued to be ignored by her employer.
The TSSA union was warned off - well they were so close to management that they only had to be pointed in the right direction. Aside from three brave union reps the TSSA made Belly the problem. Fortunately, as a result of some of our ET claims the corrupt, sexist and we say racist senior management at the TSSA union were forced to step down.
Ironically, the racist management at the employer remains in place.
The truth is that Black people are no longer safe at work in Britain. 30% or more will be racially harassed as Belly was at work or by the public this year.
They are no longer safe in education, in hospitals, in supermarkets, online or offline.
The far right and Reform UK want to end all protection against racism at work and in society. Andrew Tate’s new party, BRUV, aims to raise his racist misogynistic ideology into power. He aims to be our new Prime Minister.
Community safety is in peril. Every day their is a real risk that an angry white man (or white women - statistically, as many white women are racist as white men) takes exception to your presence in their space is waning.
In that context, we must continue to fight back, and to say NO more.
Accordingly, I am writing to invite you to attend at the “Race, Health and Community Safety” seminar/panel discussion on Friday 25 April 2025 at 2pm-5pm at the University of East London at the Stratford campus.
