Given the times now I’m sure we all are ordering out more and Restaurants are taking a big hit because of it. But how can we help?

Right now Uber and other delivery apps charge 33% of the tab to restaurants in Orlando and surrounding areas for delivery and 15% for pick up. Not of the profit but the total. This is putting restaurants in a tough position as they already have slim margins as it is. Most are losing money on These apps. The ppp loans are running dry and time is running out for a lot of these mom and pop restaurants.

This needs to change. 

I’m calling on deliver apps , Governor Ron desantis, and mayor buddy dyer to CAP these delivery fees at 10% as Oregon and new York have done so we can give these local restaurants a fighting chance. Others wise we will only be left with McDonald’s and Taco Bell’s.
