It’s been 18 years since I was sent to prison for a crime I didn’t do on April 16, 2002 I along my mother Louise White ,my sister Tokesia Jones and my codependent uncle Mr. Paul C.Perry went down to the Norfolk P.O.C. for questioning. We was met by two homicide detectives Mr.Robert GlennFord and Brian Wray they took me to an interview room where I was given a form call a P.D. 381 form with 7 questions on it I explain to detective Ford I didn’t want to answer any of his questions without an attorney being present he got upset and started threatening me that if I didn’t cooperate with him and his partner he was going to turn my name over to two other detectives working on a different case there names were detectives Mr.Dave Newman and Mr. Brad Huffman. Mr. Ford told me he need a Polaroid picture of me in which he turn over to Mr. Newman and Huffman. He told me he needed a Buccalswab to test some evidence and that he wanted me to open my mouth and let him stick the swab in for the test I explain my discomfort with his request and that I wanted to talk to someone from internal affairs he got mad and started threaten me that if I didn’t do what he ask of me he was going to call some officers in to help hold me down. I was afraid for my safety he force the swab in my mouth and place it in a box. Then he took an all black hooded and hat from me that I was wearing. I was then place in a holding cell and transported to the Norfolk city jail for processing on that day I was charged with four felonies the homicide of Johnny Hinton Jr two firearms charges. This crime happen on April 12, 2002. The next day which was April 17, 2002 two other detectives came to Norfolk jail to bring me down to P.O.C. For questioning the detectives names was Mr. Dave Newman and Mr. Brad Huffman they place me in an interview room where they gave me a P.D.381 form with 7 questions on it I explain I didn’t want to answer any of their questions without my lawyer being present. They both stated they were already informed by Mr.Ford that I would not cooperate with them or give a statement without attorney. They told me they didn’t need a statement from me they had a witness that would say I did the crime. I was then place in a holding cell and then taking back to Norfolk jail and changed with the murder of Terrell Gillian along with robbery and firearms charges also robbery of a second man name Mr.Sundiata (Sung) Walker and firearm charge. I was told this crime happen on April,10 2002 I was charged with this crime because Mr.Ford go upset because I won’t cooperate with him on the case he was working on so he planted a whole different case on me to try and force me to work with them like my codefendant Mr. Ray Lee Holley Jr. in which he is a muslin now going by the name: Amuru Amin-Jse’J Shabazz. He was a juvenile when this all happen he was brought in hours before me on April 16, 2002 with his uncle name Mr. Paul C.Perry who at that time was his parent or guardian they went into the interview room with Mr. Ford and his partner Mr. Wray gave him the same form P.D.381 form he agreed to give a statement and explain he didn’t know what happen concerning the crime that happen on April 12, 2002 at DJ Record and taped on Tidewater drive. They got upset with him and threaten him he was going to receive the death penalty if he didn’t cooperate with them. He then ask for a lawyer and they stop questioning him ask that his uncle leave out and told him he was going to be charge with murder. He was 17 years old when this happen awhile later Mr. Ford and his partner came back into the interview room because my codefendant got upset and stated to throw things in the interview room this is what made Ford and his partner came back into the room they played on his emotions at this time he was crying they told him he ask for his lawyer so they couldn’t talk to him about the crime anymore unless he change his mind this was done without his parent or guardian they start questioning him about the crime that happen on April 12,2002 every time he would try to described what happen they would tell him he was lying until he started saying what wanted him to say he gave about five or six different version of what happen until they were satisfied he continued to blame the crime on me. He sign a plea agreement for life plus 18 years to testified on me and not receive the death penalty but the trial was set for. He refuse to work with the commonwealth do to the deal they was offering him of life plus 18 years my lawyer Mr. Michael Fasanaro Jr. request a speedy trial violation but the judge let the commonwealth Nolle Prosequi  the case to reindic at a later date. My lawyer filed a motion to suppress the illegally seized of DNA evidence from Mr.Ford at the hearing he claim I refuse to cooperate and give a statement but that I let him take the DNA sample freely and that he didn’t threaten me or frame me with a different case because I wouldn’t cooperate with him very untrue. On the second case concerning the murder of Mr. Terrell Gillian the record show that this crime happen on April 10, 2002 at approximately a little after 11pm. The other so called victim Mr. Sundiata ( Sungi) Walker was suppose to had pick me out of a photo line up the morning of April 17,2002 before the detectives brought me down  for questioning I was never wanted for this  crime or a suspect I didn’t fit the original description given by Mr. Walker or anyone else. Mr walker ran from the police the night he claim to had been a victim. The victim Mr Terrell Gillian cousin Mr. Aaron Clark had to inform the police of Mr.Walker where about because he ran and nobody knew where he had went to. The detectives had to track him down.
