During this COVID-19 crisis all restaurants, gyms and casinos are closed as should all hair & nail salons as well as barber shops. This profession is ground zero for spreading this illness to and from every single person that walks through their doors. Touching the head, face, hands and feet is absolutely not safe right now and we are putting our families and communities at risk by staying open and providing services. Unless temporary closure of all establishments in this profession happens cosmetologists cannot qualify for unemployment, if we choose to stay home and quarantine we have absolutely no safely net. Please shut down the beauty industry in Colorado until further notice!
