Remove Rottweilers from the Aggressive Dog Breed List

I am a Rottweiler mother and am wanting to make a change in the state of Texas. My dog is almost 4 years old and has never harmed a fly. He is a registered emotional support animal and has gone through training. He grew up around children and loves all humans, both adults and young ones alike. My boy has not once attacked another animal despite being attacked himself multiple times. This is important because I feel like his character is paramount for what I am trying to achieve.
Way to often we see Rottweilers in movies depicted as an aggressive man eating beast, however those who have this breed of dog know that this stereotype is simply not true. Just like any dog breed, it is the way you raise your four legged friend not the breed of them that makes them dangerous. It is proven that the only time a Rottweiler may become aggressive is in a territorial situation when they feel the need to protect their family. This however is also a learned trait unless they feel a presence of harm. Rottweilers being naturally aggressive is a myth and often times you are more likely to get licked to death then to be bitten.
I have been denied entry to establishments that were dog friendly, denied reservations to dog friendly BNB's and lodging because of his breed and weight. I believe we need to make a stand and remove Rottweilers from the aggressive dog breed list and I hope that other Rottweiler lovers can join the cause. This is very important to me as my Rottweiler is not just a dog, he is my best friend, he is apart of our family and his rights are just as important as mine.
