Governor Holcomb, this is a VERY STRONG request to reconsider your decision to open Brown County to visitors. Today, May 2nd, Nashville, IN, and Brown County are inundated with traffic, shoppers, restaurant visitors, and our IGA is swamped with visitors from outside the county. Monroe County is less than 20 minutes away and is considered one of the new virus hot spots in the state, with lockdown until at least May 15, which is two more weeks. We want to protect our community, and the communities of others, by not being an opportunity to spread the virus. Some of our shop owners are feeling pressure from landlords to open without feeling safe. YOU HAVE GOT TO TAKE THIS MORE SERIOUSLY, GOVERNOR HOLCOMB.
