We the citizens of the Great State of Indiana demand justice for the senseless

murders and careless investigation by IMPD in the matter of Alexis Renee Miller

and Jesse James Miller.

Alexis was murdered by her boyfriend Cody Waldrip on October 21, 2018.  She was 8 months pregnant with Baby Jesse James Miller.  Alexis was excited about being a mother; Jesse was her miracle baby. Alexis was a caring person who loved to help others;  she always put others before herself.  She loved her family very much.  Alexis loved life and the new life she was carrying inside her womb.  Alexis volunteered for charity and was a 2014 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School in Fortville, Indiana.  She had aspirations of furthering her education to become an elementary school teacher.  She loved helping children.  We as a community and family are outraged at the loss of Alexis and Jesse.  The future that will never come to fruition.  Lives that mattered  taken from us and we seek justice to ensure this does not happen to another person ever again.
