There is alarming news that came out of Fort Myers Beach today. A dead dolphin had multiple plastic bags and balloons inside. One of the plastic bags closely resembles the type given out by Publix. We are awaiting confirmation.

Hopefully this will be a wake up call to corporate that a percentage of their billions of bags given out ends up in our waters. Continue to put pressure on your local stores. Ask the managers to discontinue plastic bags like they have in Coral Gables.
