Congratulations to The Town of Palm Beach on banning single use plastic bags! The first in Palm Beach County. They don't have many retailers but they do have a Publix Super Market which distributes a lot of single use plastic bags.

The store can be reached (561) 655-4120. I encourage people to call them and ask if they'll be removing plastic bags before the law starts in December.

The next town in Florida set to ban plastic bags is Surfside in Miami Dade County. They are neighbors with Miami Beach. They are home to a Publix and CVS. The 2nd hearing on their ordinance is in July.

If you're interested in getting your town or city government to ban plastic bags please reach out to me at (305) 588-9469 or mikedyourrealtor@gmail.com.
