As a girl I know periods can be stressful and sometimes expensive.. girls can not physically help having periods and I believe it’s only fair if we get them free, as we can’t control this. I think as condoms are free, so should sanitary pads. There’s people in this world who can’t physically afford them and are having serious issues when it comes to there time of the month. Now if I boy can walk into a clinic or a doctors centre and be supplied with free condoms for something they CAN control why can’t we walk in and receive free pads. Personally myself I feel this subject is discriminatory. It shouldn’t even be questioned. Of course it is a thing and we do have to pay. Furthermore, what about the homeless, little girls getting mistreated and people who genuinely can’t afford it? We can NOT help periods. We also did NOT ask for them. Sex is a choice but a period isn’t. I believe the government should make a change and stop charging for something that is essential to women. It’s horrible to think they’re girls out there suffering and whom are embarrassed because they have to do other things because they can’t afford it.
