Why when vehicles, jewellery etc are stolen it is theft or burglary! When animals are stolen for whatever reason (breeding, fighting) it is a crime that holds no real punishment there are no actual charges that can be laid??? This country is flooded with missing/stoleh family pets 100s never returned to their loving families! Some reunited with trauma and physical injuries that take a long time to repair! The culprits?? What happens with them?? Next to nothing!! The police have their hands tied and the people want justice! The people want change we have become a society that has made animal theft a taboo subject! This needs to change it will carry on it will carry on because their are no repercussions to these spineless monsters! Government you need to act and you need to open your eyes to how big this issue is!! Dog fighting is happening in our country, stealing dogs to breed and resell for good money is definitely happening! Why are you allowing this! Why are you watching as families beg and plead offering rewards and more for the return of their beloved pets! Wake up and stop being so soft on criminals! We have lived the nightmare of our dogs being stolen, injured, traumatised we want change!
